A friend has been told that Live Mail is not compatible with BT Internet. This seems unbelievable to me. Has anyone else heard of this?

I was given wrong information but he is still unable to send mail. I tried to check his server setup but found the toolbar is missing ie "File, Edit etc.." so I was unable to get into 'Tools' Any advice please on reinstating the toolbar?

You can also have it shpwing permanently. Point aling the top bar to the little window on the right, with a small arrow. Click it and "Show menu bar"
Perhaps you should also be aware the the "send/Receive" function is now just called "Sync" because of Live mails multi function capability.
