I've installed it some months ago,I saved the key on a txt file but lost it,now I want to format but I can't reinstall Windows 7 without the key,is there any way to retrieve it?I've already tried with two programs that work for Windows Vista,but they don't work with Windows 7.

There is a file out there called Product.Key.Explorer.v2.1.6.0
Just google for it and it works .

microsoft w7 website will give you a key to use .i tried it but it didnt retrieve the key i used during installation but it gave me o key to use

There is a file out there called Product.Key.Explorer.v2.1.6.0
Just google for it and it works .

It worked,at least it gave a key,it's probably right:pThanks.
