Windows 7 Issues Uploading Files via FTP with FileZilla and FireFTP: Seeking Assistance

Try it with Windows Explorer... you can drag and drop just like you are on your hard drive. Your other programs are probably firewalled.

I turned the firewall off and had the same results

Could Windows Explorer copy files to it? I mainly use Windows Explorer if I only need to toss an update to my website.

I have never used windows explorer, and have no idea how to go about using it for ftp
I did try typing
Link Removed
into IE's address bar, but nothing happened.

I will google how to do this

I googled how to connect and I made it in to my server.
( Link Removed )
I still get an error and cannot bring the files to my pc

Just an FYI it says "Access Denied"

I think I have fixed the problem.
I needed to go into the folders properties/advanced tab
then set permissions accordingly.

How do you manage files? When you click Computer and look at hard drives and folders, that is Windows Explorer... most people use it move files around .. rather than locating and downloading a directory management program.

That same program will transfer files to a server. It looks like everything is on your hard drive.
