I have a program folder With a number of application (.EXE) files in it. When I right click on them and choose open, a window flashes on the screen and disappears. This happens so fast that I can't see if anything is in it. Can someone tell me how to correct this problem?

Thanks. Jim

I'd start by looking in the event viewer > Application log for errors related to the applications you're trying to launch.

Thanks for the reply. I opened up the event viewer> application log, I couldn't make any sense out of what I was looking at and there was nothing specific referring to the application I was trying to open.

I had this problem some time ago and was given instructions about holding down a key or keys while selecting open to force the application to start. Unfortunately, it never occurred to me to make a note of what it was I was told.
