XP Users Cite MS10-015 February Security Update As Linked To BSOD

Microsoft says the "BSOD" may be linked to "Malware" not February Security Update - 2010. A malicious root kit program called "IDSS' which infects "atapi.sys" has been found the cause of some of the blue screen of death episodes in Windows XP. However, any driver that references the updated kernel bits incorrectly can also cause a Blue Screen.
