ok so when i tried to play an older game it stopped the loading and told me i needed to have directplay installed so i clicked install now the issue is when i click install it says searching for files then it says windows needs to restart to apply the changes now i did it and it didnt do anything that i could notice. and whenever i tried to load the game it gave me the same message this game need directplay to load. and thats my issue i can figure whats goin on out.

you can not install the Dplay software onto Windows 10 from outside the Programs panel... see this thread as it has the screenshots but I'll go into it in detail if you still need help
