Steps to Connect to a Network in Windows 7:​

• Open Network and Sharing Center:
• Click on the Start button.
• Go to Control Panel.
• Click on Network and Sharing Center.
• Set Up a New Connection or Network:
• Click on Set up a new connection or network.
• Choose the Connect to the Internet option and follow the on-screen instructions.
• Connect to a Wireless Network:
• Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray.
• Select your wireless network from the list of available networks.
• Enter the network security key if prompted.
• Click Connect.
• Connect to a Wired Network:
• If you are using an Ethernet cable, simply connect it to your laptop and the network router or modem.

Steps to Access a Printer on the Network:​

• Add a Printer:
• Click on Start and go to Control Panel.
• Click on Devices and Printers.
• Click on Add a printer.
• Select Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer.
• Follow the instructions to locate and install the printer.
• Shared Printer:
• If the printer is already set up on another computer on the network, you can connect to it by adding a shared printer.
• Go to Devices and Printers.
• Click on Add a printer.
• Select Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer.
• Choose the printer from the list and click Next to install it.
