server 2008 antivirus

I want to learn server 2008 at home but do not want to spend money on an antivirus product until I am sure I want to use it full time. Anyone know of a free AV for servers that work in real time rather than on demand. A time limited one would be OK provided it worked for at least 3 months. By then I will either adopt server 2008 or revert to windows 7
