📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses a connection issue between a Windows Lync Server 2016 setup and Skype for Business on an Android device, with the user unable to connect despite VPN being active. The main concern is whether the VPN or server information might be causing the problem, as pinging confirms network reachability but doesn't ensure the necessary ports are open. The overall sentiment suggests the issue is likely related to port configuration or VPN network restrictions rather than basic connectivity.

Either the server info is wrong for the server or the traffic isn't making it over the VPN. Skype uses quite a few ports to work

Pinging a system doesn't guarantee all the correct ports are reachable through the vpn
