Windows Server 2016

Hello All,
I am trying to teach myself more about Windows Server 2016.
I have a physical machine to use for the installation -
Acer Aspire M3201 -
AMD Phenom X4 9150
4GB Ram
1.5TB HDD
1.0TB HDD
1GB Nvidia Gigabyte GPU
DVD Drive.

However, this only has a 10/100 nic in it and the Windows Specifications state that Windows server 2016 needs a GB network card.

Surely I can use Windows Server on this machine, only 1 client machine will be connecting to it, and it's only going to be used for learning / testing etc.

Basically looking for confirmation that Windows Server 2016 WILL run on a slower NIC (in this case a 10/100)
