Windows 7 Font issue in Windows 7

Hi there,

I am newbie here, nice to meet you all. I have font issue in my windows 7. For example, when I opened some software like Itunes and Youtube Downloader, some fonts in both software would appear in "Courier New" which they are supposed is "Lucida" fonts. I'm not sure whether this is actually caused by the installation of new software or some fonts are missing in my Windows. I tried to restore default font setting in control panel>Appearance and Personalization>Fonts>Font Settings, but ended up it didn't make any changes. Is there any way could fix this, cuz I'm kinda particular in this. Help!!!Link Removed

Hello and welcome to the Windows 7 Forums. First have a look in C:/Windows/Fonts to see if the Lucida fonts are installed there.

Hi Dawen Maurer and Welcome to The Forum.

Make sure that you have both of these installed as they're crucial to the MS Shell Dlg (a pseudo or logical font).

micross.ttf and Tahoma.ttf

Download new fonts from the internet and install them. You can install a number of fonts from internet without charges

Worth a try but I don't think Lucida is a freebie.
