📎 AI Summary:
The forum thread discusses how to install an English language pack on Windows 7 Family Premium, which does not officially support multilingual user interfaces (MUI). The original poster asks about adding English despite the limitations, and a reply informs him that upgrading to a higher edition is necessary, which is not free. A concern is raised about the potential invalidation of Windows activation if hacks are used to enable language packs.

Welcome to the forums.

7 Home Premium does not officially support MUI. You need to upgrade to a more advanced version.

I think I read if you use a hack to make the language pack work that Windows Update will catch it and invalidate your copy of windows.
