Hi out there,
I hope someone can help me with my printer problem as the HP tech could not. I'm using a HP Pavilion Photosmart 6520 printer. For some reason my black ink is not printing. When I try to print something in black & white I get a blank page & printing in color a very light gray. I've performed all the troubleshooting suggestions in that I aligned the print head & all the other colors are fine except black which is a blank box. Cleaned the printer & print heads; turned the printer off & and unplugged it from the outlet & computer; removed the print cartridge to check if there was an obstruction on any end.

Replace the black cartridge, it's almost certainly bad or empty.

Thanks so much; will do that later. Just bought a new printer but will use this as a backup if what you suggested.
