I used mac for about 5 years and really loved 1 main thing: tags.

Tags came to mac with version Mavericks and let you organize your files, using tags like 'To-Do', 'Done', 'in progress' etc.

Is there a plugin, software or something that will replace those tags? I really need to have it, and the only thing I found is folder marker which lets you marker folders and it is almost what I need, but I want a quick access to the labels/tags.

So for example I have a folder with 9 files, 3 are done, 3 to do etc. I want to have a quick access (like a folder) that contains shortcuts to the files marked as done, and a folder like this for each tag. Is something like that exist or maybe I sould ask microsoft to add it in the next update?
