Windows 7 MS Office will not Run

I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Premium and now when I try and open Word 2007 it just hangs there. An if I right click anything after that the system locks up and eventually comes back with Windows Explorer is not responding and asks to restart. Any ideas?

Hi,

Same thing happened to me when i upgraded. rick click the office icon, and run it as whatever your OS system was when it was running. That fixed it for me.

No luck. I ran a compatibility check and it came back that Winword is not compatible. Does not make sense.

did you try running it as administrator ??, or try different settings, it should work,, mine took a little fiddling with, but its fine now

I did a clean install for 7 and then loaded Office 2007 from the disc that I got with my computer (which had Vista). Office worked great, no problems.
