my w10 after 10years, whatever I done to it is very slow, mouse slow to respond etc. Is not what it used to be, alert.

I tried to repair it with my old Media Creation tool USB stick I used before but it seems this is corrupted or out of date, it gives Error:
0x800700050x90018

Does w10 have its own repair/refresh tools? ….thanx ...nick

8007 indicates an issue with updating/upgrading and 50 means file already exists.

  • Use the media creation tool to download the ISO, not create a usb drive
  • Use a tool such as rufus to create the bootable Windows usb
  • (Backup your data: optional) then perform a clean install of Windows
