📎 AI Summary:
The user initially reports a "404 Not Found" error when trying to access a specific website on Firefox, suspecting either a website issue or a Windows 8 problem. After testing in IE10 and on a friend's computer running Windows XP, they encounter the same error, suggesting the site may be under maintenance or no longer active. The overall sentiment indicates the issue is likely with the website itself rather than the user's system.

Received the following "404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request". This happens using Firefox and trying to access a particular site. Might this be a problem with their website since I have no problems accessing other web sites or is it a Win 8 software problem. Thanks. Stryker

Solution
I tried with IE10 but same problem. I tried to access on another friend's computer and received same error. He is using win xp and has a different internet provider than me. So it looks like the site is either under maintenance or has closed down. Thanks for your help

Hi,

can you access the site in IE10? You could always post the site here and we could look to see if anything is wrong.
