Windows 7 moving programs from old pc to new pc

What is the best and easiest way to move my online downloaded and purchased programs from my vista pc to my win 7 pc? The easy transfer won't do the programs will it?

The easiest way is to run the installer(s) and enter your licence details again.

Sometimes you have Windows 7 64 bit and a 32 bit program with a 16 bit installer which won't work in 64 bit. The manufacturer may be out of business or not want to support the old software. I had a simple log program like that. I just copied the entire program from XP and copied to windows & and then double clicked the registry file.
