Well I have win 7 pro up and running just super on my desktop and yes Virgina a clean install with upgrade media works just fine

It's great to see a message like this once in a while!

Now check you administrator logs under Event Viewer /custom and see if you have anything to fix.

Congrats man, got my success jump from home premium vista 32 to windows 7 pro 64. It was time-consuming but mine has been up and running for a few hours now. I love it .
