Windows 7 update keeps failing to install

for several weeks my windows 7 dell 1720 laptop has been tryig to install update KB973688 update for XML corsevices 4 Sevice pack 2 and it always fails. What could be wrong???? Thanks Curt

Try This - Download and Install / Run Link Removed - Invalid URL , its designed to repair the fault that stops windows from updating, works most of the time. Run it, reboot and try downloading again.

Thank you for the suggeston I downloaded dial a fix and when running the file it tells me it is not ready for Vista yet and i have windows 7.....??????? I did not see another version. Curt
