Windows update shows that "Update for windows 7 for x64-based systems KB974332" is available for installation. When I check to install that update, everything remains at 0%, so I need to shut down update aplication through task manager. I try to download that update from Microsoft site and install it manually, but everything ends like previous try. Other windows updates are downloaded and installed fine. What to do? Is there something I missed out?

The update is only for improved compatibilty. I do not agree with the Microsoft method of assessing if you need such updates but, in this case, it is mainly for the Windows Live Photo gallery. If you do not have that installed, then it would reject the update.
The other programs to which it might apply are listed here:
Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Application Compatibility Update

I was gonna say why not just hide it? It's not really needed as you say..

Thanks RAK and kemical. Try to instal Windows live Photo gallery but again no update of KB974332. Try with google, bing, but nowhere find the answer on my question or similar case. Thank's anyway.
