I am in a loop where my computer keeps restarting at the mentioned loop how do I fix this? I do not have access to the recovery console because I do not have the password.

Make sure the boot mode is in IDE or it may be referred to as legacy.

You'll need to do it in BIOS provided it's an available option.

Well my hard drive is sata so do I still need to do that?

Yes because XP doesn't have sata drivers

Ok im in the bios and I cant find boot mode should it be under another name?

I was wrong my hard drive is ide
