Try checking for upated drivers for the midi system. Has it done this ever since the system was purchased? or just appeared when this game was installed? If you can get the Make/Model of the system look up the drivers on the vendors website.

Take a look at the properties for both drives. I suspect your mechanical drive is mounted as an extended partition (not bootable). Maybe you set it up as dual boot so you can boot from either.

Has to be a driver issue. make sure you get the correct one for you GPU and also got the OS and the bit size x32 or x64
