Steam will stop supporting Windows 32‑bit installations on January 1, 2026, a move that, if confirmed and implemented as reported, will leave the vanishingly small number of users still running Windows 10 in its 32‑bit form without client updates, security fixes, or official Steam Support help —...

Knowing which Windows version you’re running is less like an existential question and more like pure IT necessity—especially when the pop-up asking you to upgrade keeps haunting your screen like a ghost from Windows Vista past. Yet, you’d be surprised (or maybe not, if you’re in IT support) how...
I used a utility for years without problems on Win7 and Win10.
Recently I wanted to add it now to an USB flash drive which boots into a Windows 10 WinPE environment.
Unfortunately the tool crashes with the popup notification:
"The code execution cannot proceed because hhctrl.ocx was not...
I have an Dell Optiplex 980 running Win 7 Pro on a 64 bit platform. It is maxed at 4 GB ram which I think is the minimum to run Win 10 64b. Can I just update to the 32 bit OS so the 4 gb memory will be more adequate?
Thank you
In the past there were download pages resp. links for Win10 EVAL versions of 32+64bit which do NOT require registration.
I can't find them any more.
I am interested in download the ISOs for April build 1803 (=NOT the newest one)

I have an old pc, which has Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 processor, 1GB DDR2 Ram, 500GB hdd, g31 motherboard.
Windows 7 32bit runs quite good on it.
If I add ram, and increase it to 3/4GB ram.
Will it run windows 10 64bit perfectly,
Or I'll have to use windows 10 32bit instead?
Where can I DIRECTLY download:

Assume I want to download ALL security patches (NOT full rollups) for Win 7 (32bit or 64bit) NOT through the built in updates service but separately from a web page.
Where can I do this?
In other words: Which page offer the security patches (beginning with Nov 2016) as independent *.exe files...

About 2 months ago I built my first computer, nothing insanely special, but enough to replace my dying laptop and play games at half decent settings. I got it with a copy of Windows 8.1, and late at night and in a hurry to get
