My laptop has an Intel 3945ABG wireless card. I have used my laptop with wireless internet in uni without any problem at all. I think all the APs in uni are Cisco (Linksys).

my I phone have no any problem to connect to any windows and already no problem with windows 7 build 7000
but now when I create Access point by using windows 7 build 7100 ...the iphone see it and connect to it but when you look to the windows nothing connected .... then the iphone not connected...
I have just installed the evaluation copy edition 7100 onto an Acer Aspire One.It all went well and almost everything works that i have found so far.
But......

Connecting to my Access Point (WEP, Shared Key) works fine, but the network type becomes PUBLIC in the Network and Sharing Center and I cannot change it, it is read only there! My computer is not part of a domain but a member of a workgroup.
