This is a company PC with desktop settings like Windows XP I used to for a few years. I explored the options and changed the desktop background when some of the settings changed that I'd like to revert back.
1. The menu bar becomes gray and with bigger height than it was before. I like the old...

By following the Personalize prompt on the desktop, I reach "Windows color and appearance" but at that point I don't know (can't find) how to change the color of the task bar. I might add that I don't understand the meaning of most of the choices in the menu on that window. Any hints gratefully...

The face of Jesus has been very busy, appearing on chicken feathers, a tea towel and a drainpipe among many other places – and it's come to light that it's also turned up on the end of a wooden log.
The log's owner, Mel Robertson, calls it the 'holy log' and says that she keeps it as a...

Changed the appearance of Win7 to make it look like XP. Changed desktop color, active window color etc. Everything worked fine. Except I still have 3d fonts under the icons on the desktop and they look terrible on a solid background. The setting is the font for "icons" - changing the style or...
Now, my window color looks too old.
I have already found its cause. That's because I chose the advanced section, but I don't know how to close the advanced section.
Please help me! Thanks!
When first started, the welcome screen contained 3 icons representing 2 home users & 1 guest account. Now, the welcome screen only shows 2 icons..last user logged on & guest user. How can I revert to former view?
Have read all help menus within Win 7, as well as system restore. Didn't...
