Windows 7 Windows 7 Build 7232 x64 Download Size Query: VHD vs ISO Comparison

So i am downloading Windows 7 Build 7232 x64 from wzor. I noticed that it's 2.34 GB. Im confused as when i got build 7229 in 32-bit it was around the same size. I thought a 64 was bigger. Or is it this size since its a vhd file and not iso. I am going to use keznew's way to make it a iso.
