Hi
I am running Windows 7 and everything seems fine appart from the D drive showing a missing icon. The C drive is fine as are the DVD/DVDRW drives its only the D drive.
How do you go about replacing this? I had the same problem on Vista and when I installed 7 I thought that would be fixed...

In the first few weeks of running Windows 7 (Build 7000), all went well.
then, suddenly, a certain program failed to access my D drive (That's where I keep all of my documents and media files).
then I noticed a bunch of programs (such as uTorrent, FlashGet, etc.) simply cannot download...

Moving Pagefile
I put Windows 7 64 bit on a SSD drive with the intention of moving my swapfile to my conventional D Drive. Seems that I no longer have that option. No drives show up in the drive box so I assume that it's either the C drive or nothing. Am I Correct? Thanks. Leon

I had a go at installing Windows 7 yesterday and have run into a small hiccup.
On my XP installation, my HD was partitioned into 2 drives, C: and D: (both the C and D drives are NTFS formatted).
C: was used for windows and program files.
D: was used for my documents eg. videos...

I've tried about everything and I can't put back the hard disk drives with the blue bar representing the disk space...
I like to see the bar with disk free space and now it disappeared!! This is really annoying! HELP PLZZZ!!!

I haven't installed Vista yet and if i do..i want to know if there is a way to uninstall it and go back to using XP which will be on the c drive because I am installing vista on my d drive which is part of the hard drive
I have a Vista RC1 dvd and i was wondering if it was possible to install it to my D drive on my hard drive...i would still have xp pro on the c drive..would it possible to have both and when u turn on the computer select which drive u want to boot off of?
