It looks like I'm almost there but I'm missing some setting. The computers can see each other, but I can't actually access one from the other. when I try to access the vista computer from the 7 computer, I click on it and it just goes to a blank page. With Vista I can access the d drive on the 7...

Hi, I have a dell that came with Vista, I was given W7 for grad school and when I up graded it went to the smaller "D" or "recovery" drive and not the "C" Drive. The weird thing is that I still have the original files on the "C" drive. And now when I reload MS Office 07 it goes to the "D"...

2. Select System Protection.
3. In the Protection Settings section, select the D drive.
4. Click on the Configure button.
5. Enable Only restore previous version of files.
6. Set Max Usage to 50%.

I have my hard drive partitioned into two drives c: & d:
For some reason the icon is ok for c: drive but the one for d: has lost its icon and has the default icon - I can't seem to find where in the registry where I can recreate the icon for this - can anyone help?

I want to shrink the C drive and expand the D drive but I can't do it with either windows or Paragon Partionmagic.
I get an error message in Partition magic that it won't work on a 64 bit OS.
Anyone any ideas?
Tom

I put Windows 7 64 bit on a SSD drive with the intention of moving my swapfile to my conventional D Drive. Seems that I no longer have that option. No drives show up in the drive box so I assume that it's either the C drive or nothing. Am I Correct? Thanks. Leon
