when i got this computer back after a reinstall, the only account was "owner".
i changed it to "james", but it's still defaulting everything to c:\users\owner instead of c:\users\james.
how do i change this?

I've run into a bit of a problem. I cannot figure out how to change the default path for VST plugins in Windows 7. In Vista and previous, you could simply change the path in the registry.
I am asking because I use Adobe Premier, Media Encoder, etc. They read my default VST...

I’ve noticed that with Windows Vista, some programs are installed into a hidden local user folder rather then in C:\Program Files. Does anyone know how to force a program to install into the default c:\Program Files?
