ok, so i listen to music.... A LOT of music.
the problem i'm having is that every month or so, a folder (i have it set up as c:\music\artist\album) disappears.
(c:\example\example wouldn't be so bad, but it's always the higher c:\example so it deletes ALL albums!)
this is insanely frustrating...
If any Mods read this - can you just delete the post - no longer require help on it - thanks.

Why does Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit have SQL Server 2005 and MS Visual C++ ? Are these required, or can I delete them? Same question for the Windows Live Sync as well.
Thanks!
I have been using Windows 7 for almost a year now and am quite happy with it. There is one thing that is puzzling me. When I load Windows Media Centre 12 there are hundreds of files in the pictures. These appear to be all from the web or icons from various programs. At the last count there are...

Is there a way to script the verification, creation, and deletion of Windows 7 libraries, using any script engine which will run as a login script? For 7 desktops in AD, I would much rather use libraries than mapped drives, if possible.

Hi All,
Do you have such kind of problems? Everyone can see your computer activities and I think that is a big problem - my computers are full of information. What kind of software do you use to remove all wanted files and to hide the tracks from internet browsing?
Can I delete the windows.old files that were left when I installed Vista? They take up a lot of room and since they are all xp files and you can't access anything in them, I just thought it would be nice to get rid of them. We did a complete install to Vista from xp, not an upgrade, but it still...
