Hi Forum so I plug my laptop into an external monitor, laptop res is standard 1366x768, monitor res is standard 1280x1024. I have my monitor windows taking up roughly the lower 3/4 of the desktop - I have a 2 inch gap at the top where I can see icons when I disconnect the monitor, the windows...

Assume I have multiple windows open (browser, WinExplorer, Word,...). Is there a way to hide all these windows at once to show only desktop, then double click on one of the icons on desktop to start another prgm and finally re-show the previously hidden windows again? Peter

Q. Is there not a way to adjust the default icon for Control Panel, NOT as a shortcut but from the actual original desktop icon in Themes> Desktop Icons?
