Windows 7 Troubleshooting Unusable Partitions in Disk Manager: Virtual Disk Service Issues
In the disk manager tool, I tried to partition (create/name) a new partition out of free, unallocated space. but the virtual disk service blows up and the partition is "created" but it gains no letter drive and is not usable. i tried rebooting and trying it again, no luck. same thing happens...- WindowsUser
