Hello, I have an encrypted rar file with a password and I can't open it? Is there an easy way to search for that password or open that file without the need of password?

Word files were encrypted while on a Win XP PC. PC Died and data was "backed up", Windows 7 was installed. Now the files are all gibberish. Am I screwed?
