If you’ve ever found yourself clicking open, close, open, close on a parade of files just to find that one table, picture, or snippet of text, let’s all agree: there must be a better way. Welcome to modern Windows 11, where file previewing in File Explorer isn’t just possible, it’s smart, slick...

How do I "deselect all" from this File Types list?
I only want to index .exe from my portable apps folder; deselecting file types one by one is not an option as there are hundreds.
Thanks

When opening a file not already associated with a program, or using the "Open with..." menu in the context menu, I cannot select my own programs to open the file, as clicking "More apps" or "Try an app on this pc" does nothing. This extremely annoying as I cannot open even an image or a text...
A few of the video picture icons of the videos on my computer are broken, and I’ve had this problem before on my previous computer as well. With my old computer, I tried all of the suggestions that the Microsoft agents told me to try.
Sadly, none of the suggestions worked. So I need to know if...
I did it. I was in a hurry and accidentally formatted a 200Gb Micro SD card in my external slot of my Android phone. It had every type of file you can imagine on it. Videos, Pics, PDFs, Word Documents, Rar, Zip & 7z files... and more. About 110Gb of data.
There are so many reviews that are...

After some last Windows10 update the MSEdge was set as the default PDF files viewer. When I switch it back to Acrobat, it returns again as before. I tried it more times using the right mouse with checked option, in settings/default apps by file type, nothing helps. No option to see the Edge...
Yes, I could change the file association via Win GUI or use some third party tools.
However I prefer to do this directly in Registry by a *.reg file (in Win 7 64bit).
How can I set my editor "D:\tools\editor\myeditor22.exe" as default editor when double clicking on a file with *.txt extension...
