I have Windows media Player and VLC installed, but non of them can play videos, regardless of whether they are home made videos or retail movie dvds.
So, what do I have to use without paying for it ?

I have a problem when trying to play some home movie videos that I had captured from a stand alone Panasonic DVD recorder and ripped to my computer hard drive. (I don't remember what software I used to rip the DVDs. It was a long time ago.)

I am trying to burn a home movie onto a disc using the windows burning tool.
However even though the file is only 700mb and the disc is 4.8gb it says i dont have enough space on the disc. Tried with several discs.
