I want to view photos on a desktop on my tv. The network is set up and I can see WMP on my TV. The problem is that, although my playlists are in separate folders, the TV sees all the photos as though they were in one folder.
Can someone please tell me the organizing steps in WMP to avoid this?

I somehow managed to rename the libraries as well as the 'Favorites' about half a year ago.
I don't recall how, but remember that it took a lot of trial and error. It worked perfectly and consistently in the start menu and the window manager. Now, with the latest update (13 important) it all...

Hi there,
I have a HTPC with music I'd like to listen to from another pc. I've enabled Internet access with a Live ID and seems to be working. I see music and video's which are in the win7 libraries on the HTPC, but not my playlists. Is this somehow possible?
Thanks.

Hi all,
While using Windows XP, I used TweakUI to get the directories I frequently used with a minimum of fuss. The default options just didn't cut for me.
At first, I thought the Libraries feature would be useful on Windows 7 but in my experience, they're more trouble than they're worth. What...

The Homegroup on my new Win 7 laptop and existing PC works fine, but only after I've been through the Homegroup troubleshooter to refresh the network.
After either the PC or laptop is turned off (and then on again, obviously!), I have to go through the troubleshooter again before the Homegroup...

In the Windows 7 "Libraries" I have just discovered that under "My Music" and "My Videos", there is also a copy of all of the folders in "My Pictures". I tried to delete one folder from the My Music group of Pictures, and it deleted the same folder under "My Pictures"....seems I cannot remove...
