I lost my windows opening maximized. Now it only opens minimaized and I have to enlarge it. What did I change to cause this? I read post from a few years back and still can get the window to open maximized. Thanks
I'm used to W7 remembering the last known positions of all of my open windows, but lately (and I can't recall what change may have prompted this) every window opens in a maximized state, and upon restoring it, always sizes down to the default window size, jammed right into the upper-left corner...

my windows Taskbar over laps with the windows i.e either the task bar is over the maximized window ,or the the maximized window covers the task bar .I like to see maximized window and the task bar not over lap each other. Can anyone please help me.

in my W7 I have something very strange. That I open a first file of a program or application and it is opened maximized. But when I open a second file or doc of a previous application program, that one is minimized at the taskbar. Your help is appreciated.
One more "how weird can he be question", is there a way to force all windows to open maximized? I know MS has a reason to default all windows opening half-size (they call it normal), but I wish they would provide a place for us to choose how we want it.
