I come to you with a problem – yesterday the computer showed This application failed to start because MICROSOFT.OFFICE.PROJECT.SERVER.DATABASE.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. Please help to recover microsoft project file here after such a failure.
Have Project 2010 Pro installed on Windows 7.
mpp file when clicked on does not open project 2010.
I find the Set Associations and mpp is not set.
mpt points to MS Project.
So I go to change program and Project is not in the pick list of
icons.
Tried browsing but cannot find Project...
I attempted to run msconfig to uncheck some progs in my startup, like I did already many times before, always with no problems at all.
Then my Windows 7 Ultimate PC (Dell XPS M1530) crashed with a broken RAM (one of my two 2GB is defect, so I took it out and restarted with 2GB). All is fine...
