I built my new computer and the only thing I need now is a wireless adapter. I have a Linksys N router that is located on the first floor of my house and about 50-80 feet away. Since I can not hard wire with an ethernet cable from my room which is on the second floor, I need a wireless card. I...
Hello
I am currently running vista 32bit right now. Im wanting to upgrade to Windows7 but I want to install Win7 64bit and not 32bit.
My question is, if i buy this can I install win7 64bit or can I only install win7 32bit since it is the upgrade and not full.
Hope that makes sense, thanks!
So I accidentally bought a 32-bit OEM version of Win7 from Newegg, I realized this after it shipped(never shop for software after 2am unless you're pro). My son opened the box while I was unpacking the other hardware, so apparently I can't return it. Anyway, if I get my friend's 64-bit disc will...

Question?
Can anyone purchace, and use a Microsoft OEM System Builder License?
Instead of building a system for someone (customer), and do it for your self?
Reason why I ask is because NewEgg has Win 7 System Bulder OS's for cheaper than regular. Why can't I purchase that if I wanted and build a...
I'm trying to install a full genuine copy of Window 7 Pro on brand new hard drive. This rig was custom built for me 3 years ago and the hard drive just went out. So I replaced it with a 1TB hard drive. Now I'm trying to install this new copy of Windows 7 I just got from Newegg and it freezes on...
I participated in the upgrade option from newegg on the 25th of sep. Just got an email that my order was shipped but would take up to 15 days to arrive. I live in oklahoma. Anyone else running into this??
Alright, so I pre-ordered the Professional Upgrade (he he, got it from Newegg.com and got it for $99 a few months back! ) Anyways, I have a pretty awesome custom built PC and I'm thinking that I should install 64 bit to use all 8 GB of RAM. I'm wondering if during the upgrade, it will like let...

Hi all,
My first post. I have not been able to find a previous thread about this, there may be a reason for that, but here goes.
I currently have XP installed, but want to finally install my Vista Home Preimum upgrade that I got a little over a year ago. I don't want to loose the XP in case...
I see Newegg I believe has Windows Vista Home Premium (under the label of System Integrators Pack) for $99.00 or thereabouts. What does this mean exactly? Can I buy it at that price? If so thats quite a savings.
Here is something peculiar that happened. I bought Vista home premium OEM from Newegg just after it came out. I installed and activated it. I used Vista for about 4 months then got tired of it and went back to using XP most of the time.
Recently, I built a new computer (different CPU and MB)...
For those of you that has followed my PSU and MoBo issues then this will come to no surprise, I have also found 3 bad sticks of RAM.
When I bought this RAM last Apr it was about $440 for 2 Gb and can now be bought at newegg for $109 after rebate.
Any way I've filled out the RMA form at...
