Windows 10 has trouble with small boards, even recent ones. The latest update bundle tries to install video drivers that makes the whole update roll back on restarting. When you tell it not to, and update your drivers before the update, it goes in after two more tries. Oh boy.

We have several different clients with different PC's who are having trouble with using their speakers. They are not listed in Device Manager at all. We've tried installing new drivers. Using different USB ports. We suspect its something to do with a Windows update so we rolled back updates and...
Hi all,
A while back I upgraded from 1909 to 2004. However, one particular piece of software started misbehaving and I had to roll back (there were a few other issues as well, but these were minor). Since then, that particular app has been updated for compatibility with 2004, but Windows update...
I am sooo pi*sed that I'm being forced to "downgrade" to Windows 10. I tried it when it was free and really gave it a chance, but I couldn't stand it, so I rolled back to 7. It was like I could breathe again.
Now that they have ended support for 7 and fearing malwares and viruses, I'm forced to...
I came here for some assistance regarding a problem I can't seem to overcome. We're a VERY SMALL company with only seven PCs and three laptops, and since I guess I'm the only one with ANY 'knowledge' whatsoever about such things (and I am not, in all truth, all THAT 'knowledgeable' in any real...

Is anyone else having problems after Windows update installs AMD graphics driver 24.20.11016.6007? My system hangs with a blank black screen at the point where the splash screen should be displayed.
The only solution is to keep rebooting until it enters recovery mode. At that point you can...

I have adopted a fairly old IT philosophy of 'If its not broken, don't fix it' when it comes to Windows 10.
After all, the only 'valuable' stuff on your computer are documents and emails which you spent time on - if these are 'lost' there is a cost to recover this data.
So - for the past...

I did a rollback from my latest Windows Insider build. Afterwards it goes to a black screen after the welcome screen. I can use ctrl/alt/del to get into Task Manager. In there it shows just normal activity. I would think if it was still trying to recover it would show quite a lot of activity. I...

I don't know if this is an Apple problem or a Microsoft problem.

Recently the updates released by Microsoft to combat Meltdown and Spectre have caused some boot issues for those running with certain AMD processors. (this issue is only affecting older AMD cpu's apparently)

After the latest huge pile of Windows Updates I get this error message when I try to run a game that was previously working. I've re-installed DirectX and the driver for the graphics card - not change. Is it possible to roll back to a working version of DirectX?
