Justin Bieber's Twitter page has become the target of an internet joke.
A public vote on the Canadian singer's My World Tour page asked users which country he should tour next, with no restrictions on the nations that could be voted on.
This spurred users of imageboard website 4Chan to...

Mac mags have been running a crazy anti-Microsoft conspiracy story claiming that Redmond has banned people from using Apple gear at its events.
If you believe the kool-aid drinking hacks, a Redmond representative was so miffed that journalists attended its events carrying Apple toys that it...

I was wondering if anyone currently allowed to have a copy of Win 7 was getting an upgrade versions or just full versions. It would be nice if folks using an upgrade version of the OS would post their experiences and confirm or refute some of the rumors about the install process.
Taken from the excellent GameTrailers.com :

Sorry if this is the wrong place, or if someone has asked this before, i only found these forums 5 minutes ago.
Anyway, the current price of Home version is £64.99 on Amazon UK, I was hoping if someone could confirm that the price will be the same at Christmas?

As I commented in a previous thread....
Well, An IT System Admin friend of mine had a 'teleconference' with MS on the subject of Win7 the other day; when I was talking with him, he asked me if there was anything I wanted to know about Win7? I ( in a 'tongue-in-cheek' mode) said yeah, ask them...
Microsoft names Windows 7 RC1 dates â€Ã‚¢ The Register :D
EDIT: I guess I this topic would be more appropriate in the "Rumors and News" forum. I didn't think to check all the forum catagories before posting.
Paul Thurott seems to think one of the two major Windows 7 announcements is a new Windows 7 UI, the second is probaly the OS's release date. Link Removed - Invalid URL .
"There are rumors, too, that a new UI is coming and it may make sense for Microsoft to hold on to that UI for the RTM builds...

Hi guys.
What is the REAL true status of build 7048. Reading some of the various rumours apparently Microsoft hasn't even STARTED on 7048.
Now if it's a FAKE it's got to be a really good one -- I doubt whether any even experienced hacker could integrate the proper final version if IE8 into the...
So, according to Ars Technica, the latest build is 7041 and work on the RC build hasn't even begun yet. :frown:
Rumor smash: Windows 7 build 7048 does not yet exist (Updated) - Ars Technica
I heard rumor the battery life in Win7 is supposed to be better than in Vista. Currently, I am experiencing worse battery life, like around 70% or so.
I am running Beta 1 downloaded from the MSDN site and using the "Balanced" power setting.
How has everyone elses experience been with...
So guys, just wondering, how long do you think it will take for leaked builds of Windows 7 to start circulating?
I think perhaps around Q3 of this year, when M3 comes out.
For those waiting for the final release of SP1, I saw this article in todays The Enquirer..
THE MUCH- AWAITED service pack for Vista could be out any day now, according to the dark satanic rumour mill.
Yesterday a Taiwanse news outfit said that SP1 would be released on February 15. According...
