Hang up if a person with an accent calls telling you that you are receiving malware as you speak and tells to you to enter eventvwr which is event viewer in the run box. It is a scam by Global Inc.

I downloaded a couple of movies and when I tried to play it I get a message to download webxvid codec to watch it. I download a codec-setup-123 but it still doesn't play the videos.I think it was just a scam cause nothing happens,is there a way to play this video?

A company called Acadia Global is still trying to tell poeople that their pcs are getting infected and they can fix it for a price. It is a known scam dating back to at least 12/12. Go to the FBI at www.ic3.gov and report it if it hapens to you. Do not give any money or information.
