I have a legit version of XP Media Center 2005 with all my TV programs and videos stored on a separate harddrive to play on my home theater PC.
Last night I did a clean install of a pre-release version of Windows 7...

I will likely be running the RC until Windows 7 releases the full version. Will i be able to upgrade from the RC to the full version and not have to do a fresh install?
day the that computer vendors will start putting the coupons for Windows 7 into new purchased pc's boxes. I even saw a pictor of a coupon from a guy that bought a Asus laptop that is already available. I also saw that some will charge a small fee.

I paid for version 6 years back, then upgraded to version 9.
Now my friend Ashraf has located a free older version with a free registry key after inputting you email address. They then send the key through email.

Well, I think a lot of it could have to do with that both OS'es were delayed by quite a bit, so people just got too used to the old ones. Though IMO, Vista is a good upgrade...
