Hello,
We have right-click paste in windows 7 and this option appears wherever pasting is possible. But after pasting the clipboard contents remain in memory. It would be nice if we have another paste-wipe option wherein after pasting the clipboard content is wiped. How can we make it possible ...
Recently, when I put my cursor over items it automatically selects them even though I have not clicked. How do I turn this off so that an item is only selected when I click it.
The search bar in windows explorer is greyed out and I can't type anyting in it. In Task Manager there is no Search task. Perhaps that is the reason. HJow do I get the Search task back?

When I right click a desk top icon, a menu pops up that is too big for my screen. Most of the options are of no interest to me. Can I edit this pop up?
A strange folder appeared on my Windows 10 desktop. It is filled with the same folders and files filling my desktop. If I delete a folder or file within this unusual folder, the same folder or file is also deleted on my desktop. I suspect the desktop will be emptied of all files & folders if I...
I'm trying to find a pulsating cursor. It creates a concentric expanding area (you could liken it to a visual rendering of submarine's sonar ping). You can't miss it. Does anyone know where to find this automated cursor? I just can't find this cursor anymore. My eyes are shot. Thank you.
In former times in Windows 7 users can press F5 to refresh the current state of Windows Explorer.
When I try to do the same now in Windows 10 File Explorer then from the right side a pane appears instead.
How can I change the meaning of F5?
I would like to keep the F5-refresh association.

Hi,
I'm new to windows, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm using Windows 10 after 15+ years using mac and Linux (switched from XP), and considering adopting Windows as my main OS.
I'm trying to use win+ctrl+arrow to change between desktops, with a multi monitor setup.
The problem is...
When I open Edge I see a search bar. In order to get voice search, I have to click on this blank search bar first to get a voice search box.
How can I get Edge voice search the first time? In other words how do I set Edge to open to voice search?
