Introduction
As the deadline for compliance with the Digital Markets Act (DMA) in the European Economic Area (EEA) nears, Microsoft shared an update on their plan to roll out updates to Windows for customers in the EEA. The recent non-security releases, including Windows 10, version 22H2 Build...

Greyed out timeline tile doesn't get removed
I know someone has asked the same question, but the answer doesn't work.
The suggested way to remove the tile (grey or not, I suppose) is to delete the files in the "C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\ConnectedDevicesPlatform" directory.
I did this and...
On my Windows 10 desktop server I have been running auto startup (no password needed). Suddenly today startup is asking for a password on startup. It is showing two identical userid, one of which uses the normal password and the other is a new one. Investigation said to use netplwiz to...
Windows Server 2022. No puedo hacer clic ni arrastrar elementos del escritorio, incluidos accesos directos, iconos y ventanas (como las ventanas del explorador).
Se agradece cualquier idea sobre esto.
Windows has always liked opening new Windows Explorer windows in random places on my desktop.
Does anyone know of a Windows Explorer toolbar button (or system tray icon) that moves current window to certain position (that I set) on my display?
One thing I'd like to do is make the titlebar of every single app I open on my Windows 11 look like the Windows Vista titlebar. On XP, 7, and Vista, apps weren't able to have custom titlebars. Now they are, and it sucks.
Anyone know how to change it?
So recently on Windows 11, I've used WindowsBlinds and downloaded Win Live Essentials. But on some apps, the title bar isn't showing up.
..yeah. I've made it look a lot like Vista, but it isn't i swear
yeah so does anyone know how to fix this? it's actually getting annoying.
Windows 11 File Explorer navigation pane allows for some folders to be pinned, but not others. It allows desktop to be pinned, but not documents folder, pictures folder. I have changed several settings many times, but it does not fix it.
Hi Guys,
I have a one to run by you.
I have a simple Windows batch script I run in the morning that basically opens various programs I use for the day. Lazy doing this...yup LOL.
Issue is the command prompt window that pops up never closes after the script is run.
I have tried ending the...
While I like a great many things about Windows 11, I absolutely abhor the little pre-set placement templates that invade my space whenever I move a window close to the top of the screen. But I can't research removing them because I don't even know what they are called. I refer to these things...
Greetings.
New to the forum. Not new to Windows.
For the past year, I've been using my personal laptop for work. I had two Office365 Profiles -- personal, and work.
I've deleted the work profile, and have scoured the Registry for every instance of my former employer's name, and have removed...

Hello
No matter how many times I change the position of the desktop background photos in windows 7 and 10 to center or fit and save them, but it automatically returns to fill mode after 2 seconds??!!😔😔☹️
I have a dual monitor setup with Kaspersky Internet Security. The first monitors taskbar doesn't contain the white circle yet the second monitor does. Please refer to pictures. Would someone please help me understand what this is and if it is malicious?
Hi,
This is my first day with Windows 11 and I'm already having a lot of trouble with a few niche things that are pretty important to my workflow.
First: if I open the Photos app, for example, the first window opens where I want it to, but any subsequent photos I open while the first is open...
Not the place... The image file on the Hard Drive. When I look for how to change the Lock Screen image, what I get is information for how to change the Desktop Wallpaper. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't make a clearer distinction between them as these are two entirely different things...
