About this tag
The wardogs tag on WindowsForum.com covers troubleshooting for the game Wardogs, particularly crashes during its closed beta on Windows 11. Discussions focus on a known issue linked to Windows 11 security update KB5121003, where games may hang, crash with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION, or restart the PC. The culprit is often the third-party driver inpoutx64.sys, commonly installed by RGB-capable hardware control utilities. Users are advised not to uninstall the update as a first response, as Microsoft has acknowledged the failure mode. Instead, the tag explores driver-related fixes and hardware interactions, offering practical guidance for affected players.
