I've never upgraded to another OS before, usually they come out by the time I need a new computer. But this time so fast...and it runs so much better, I have a couple questions.
I'm about to install the RC. But when Windows7 does come out I'm going to get the upgrade from Vista to Home Premium...
I'm running Compaq Presario CQ40 with the following hardware:
Windows 7 build 7057
Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3200 @ 2 GHz
RAM 1 GB
The problem that i'm having is that windows constantly changes the battery indicator to show that i have little or no juice left even when i'm plugged in...
So randomly today a nice vertical pink line appeared on my screen. My laptop is about 4 years old, and still under warranty.. Is this an old hardware issue? Or could windows 7 be messing with my video card??
I have 4 months old laptop.
Battery is 100% charged, After 2 days in ac power it shows 98%, plugged not charging. Then if I use the battery for a while less than 95% and if i plugged it in ac power, it starts charging and become 100%, fully charged. After two days it show 98%, plugged not...
