    hey guys,
don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes.
vista ultimate 32 is my main OS now, but i have the Win 7 64 bit on a separate drive. pretty much everything works except for my mustek scanner. this is a pretty much necessary piece of equipment for my work, being a tabloid sized scanner that is actually affordable. But it doesn't look like mustek has any intention of making 64 bit drivers for it.

someone suggested setting up a Virtual Machine and maybe running the scanner from there. I've done some poking around to research the whole idea of a VM, but i'm not sure if it would actually work with drivers or not.

would i be able to set up a VM on my win 7 64 bit and run 32 bit scanner drivers from there?

    thanks for any info.
