The remaining gaps involve sustained full-screen luminance, wireless and tuner decisions, platform privacy, and the price premium attached to flagship panel technology. If LG brings more of the G-series panel architecture into future C-series sizes without raising prices sharply, the distinction between mainstream and flagship OLED could narrow further.
The LG OLED evo C6 is the television equivalent of a mature Windows release: familiar, broadly compatible, and improved in the areas users notice most, even if a few baffling regressions remain. Its brighter HDR presentation, accurate color, perfect blacks, Dolby Vision support, four gaming-ready HDMI ports, and 165Hz PC capability make it an outstanding home theater centerpiece. The G6 and Samsung S95H can deliver a more dazzling picture, but the C6 captures most of their practical appeal for far less money, earning its position as the best-value premium OLED of 2026—especially when purchased below its launch price rather than as an unnecessary upgrade from the already excellent C5.
