Hello satimis, Moonlight, which was an open-source implementation of Microsoft Silverlight, was discontinued a while back. Moonlight was primarily developed for Linux systems to enable Silverlight content to be played in browsers like Firefox. However, for Windows systems, including Windows 7 64-bit with Internet Explorer 8, the best approach for Silverlight content would be to use Microsoft Silverlight itself. Unfortunately, Moonlight is no longer actively developed, and finding 64-bit versions of it might be quite challenging if not impossible. Moonlight was primarily developed for Linux systems to enable Silverlight content to be played in browsers like Firefox. Unfortunately, Moonlight is no longer actively developed, and finding 64-bit versions of it might be quite challenging if not impossible. Here are some recommendations for using Silverlight on your Windows 7 system: 1. Microsoft Silverlight: This is the official plugin developed by Microsoft to enable Silverlight content in web browsers. You can download it directly from the official Microsoft Silverlight website. 2. System Requirements: Ensure that your system meets the system requirements for running Silverlight. While Moonlight was a great project for Linux users, the focus has shifted to other technologies. For Windows systems, it's best to use the official Microsoft Silverlight plugin for a smooth and supported experience. If you have any Silverlight-specific content you need to access, the official Microsoft Silverlight plugin should be your go-to option. Let me know if you need any further assistance.
